Days after Wyoming mother Tranyelle Harshman appeared to have committed murder and suicide, a fourth kid from the same family died.
Tragic reports previously described how, on February 10, 2025, Harshman allegedly shot her four daughters before shooting herself.
Tranyelle herself, Brooke and Jordan Harshman, both two, and nine-year-old Brailey Blackmer perished from their wounds. When the story went viral, people from all around the world prayed for 7-year-old Olivia Blackmer’s recovery as she was taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City.
On Sunday, February 16, father Quinn Blackmer regrettably announced on Facebook that Olivia had lost the fight for her life.
Before announcing Olivia’s untimely death yesterday (February 15) at 3:44 p.m., Quinn wrote, “We needed time to process what had happened, and I know this isn’t the update people were hoping for and we are absolutely gutted to make it.”
“There is so much destruction that we are experiencing and feeling. During this very trying period in our lives, please allow all the families involved our time and space.
Quinn went on to say that he was finding a little comfort in the knowing that his daughters were together.
“Knowing that my babies can be with their other sisters and not have to be apart from each other brings me peace,” he remarked.
Tranyelle Harshan, 32, was reportedly afflicted with melancholy, postpartum depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She admitted to shooting her girls and threatened to do the same to herself when she contacted the police on the day of the purported killings.
Cliff Harshman, Tranyelle’s spouse, told the Cowboy State Daily that she had been going through a lot of hardship.
He declared, “My wife was not a monster.”
“Most people don’t understand how that affects the brain,” he said of her health struggles. A chemical imbalance is the cause. Additionally, attempting to treat it with drugs may make it worse.
