Anastasia Tiurina is only seven years old, but her talent and love of performing shine as brightly as that of a seasoned musician.
The performance of the young Russian girl with the National Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments is highlighted. Anastasia leads the orchestra in a rousing musical variation of Alexander Shalov’s Russian folk song ‘Valenki,’ strumming the Russian balalaika – a triangular mandolin-like instrument with three strings.
Anastasia is still fully absorbed in the music, deftly plucking at the strings and smiling generously at her various accompanists and the conductor. She appears to be very happy and relaxed on stage, performing with a patience and ease that will ensure her a bright future in music!
